The Flamenco Guitar
The flamenco guitar is a fast percussive version of the acoustic guitar. It is meant to be strummed, tapped and played in inventive ways by the artist. The blanco model is a bright responsive instrument, while the negra model has deeper sonic qualities. Like its cousin the classical guitar, the flamenco guitar is an exciting instrument that can play diverse genres and styles of music, and is only limited by the ability of the musician.
This Flamenco blanco model is made with Sitka Spruce and Port Oxford Cedar. 650mm ebonite fingerboard on a mahogany neck. French polished with Sloan tuners, bone saddle/nut and rosewood bridge. A golpeado is installed to protect the top when tapped.
